Life is meant to be experienced through love from God and love to mankind. Our connection to peace starts with God in our heart and extending to people around us.
"Praise and worship" is a lifestyle of staying "in touch" with God through remembering and being thankful for what He has done for us in the past; what He is doing right now; and what His love will provide in the future. Without experiencing God through His Word, and through praise and worship of His mercy and love, we leave ourselves open to being driven with the wind; a ship without a stablizing sail; sheep without a shepherd.
We need Jesus because we need an anchor.
There is a Plan for your salvation
The prerequisite to belonging to the Body of Christ rests in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and in a born-again experience having been covered by the blood through faith in His death, burial and resurrection.
Jesus made that saving knowledge so simple.
The 2-Step Plan
1. Admit your need for a Savior and turn from your sins (repent).
Acts 3:19 says, "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of REFRESHING MAY COME from the presence of the Lord."
2. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from he grave.
"...If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10: 9-10).
"For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him" (John 3:36).
3. Invite Jesus to live in your heart and ask him to, daily, lead you by the Holy Spirit.
Now that you have confessed your sins to God and invited Jesus Christ to come into your heart and control your life through the Holy Spirit, (which is a gift from God to you), you can expect a change in your life. Troubles and trials do not disappear immediately, but He will give you strength to get through them. Most of all, realize HE LOVES YOU and He promises never to leave or forsake you.
Now, go out there in the world and among your family and friends and serve God with all your heart. If you ever wonder what God wants you to do, read the following verses:
Matthew 22: 37-40
"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
"This is the first and great commandment.
"And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
"On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
